Healing Touch Classes & Practice Groups in Northeast Ohio

Please note that this page is for those who are interested in learning how to do Healing Touch. You do not have to take classes to experience Healing Touch.

The Healing Touch Program is an international, multi-level educational program in energy based medicine therapy. The Healing Touch Program curriculum progresses from beginning to advanced practice. As a professionally accredited program, the curriculum encompasses increasing levels of practice and techniques, standards of care, code of ethics and scope of practice. Healing Touch is endorsed by the American Holistic Nurses Association. Practitioners and Instructors are certified through an independent certification process.

When you complete the Healing Touch Program (after Level 5), you may apply for certification. Healing Touch Certified Practitioners are recognized internationally as having achieved a professional level of energetic therapy competence.

Healing Touch  Program is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s COA.

The following are Healing Touch Classes offered in Northeast Ohio:

Level 1 Healing Touch Classes

Level 1 begins with 16-18 continuing education contact hours of instruction, allowing people with varying backgrounds to enter, acknowledge their previous learning and to further develop concepts and skills in energy-based therapy. A strong commitment to personal growth is required.

Objectives:

The participant will:

  • Describe the human energy system relationship to physical, emotional, mental and spiritual health.
  • Discuss energy principles basic to Healing Touch.
  • Assess the energy field and energy centers.
  • Identify a Basic Healing Touch Sequence.
  • Demonstrate specific intervention techniques used in Healing Touch.
  • Discuss applications of Healing Touch in personal and professional practice.
Level 1 Class:  May 10-11, 2012  – Canfield, Ohio

Level 2 Healing Touch Classes

Level 2 is for students who have completed Level 1 and wish to increase breadth and depth in the study of Healing Touch (16-18 continuing education contact hours.) The second level of study in Healing Touch includes an intake interview, back techniques, and a one-hour healing sequence. Emphasis in the experiential learning is on developing healing sequences for specific client needs.

Objectives:

The participant will:

  • Share the experience of practicing Level 1 techniques.
  • Develop interviewing and additional assessment skills.
  • Demonstrate a one-hour healing sequence for specific client problems.
  • Document clinical work.
  • Practice back and neck techniques.
  • Describe specific techniques in addressing client health challenges.

Level 3 Healing Touch Classes

Level 3 is for students who desire more in-depth skills in Healing Touch, and have successfully completed Level 1 and Level 2.  This course includes: development of Higher Sense Perception (HSP), sequencing of healing techniques, working with guidance, self-healing and self-development.

Ojectives:

The participant will:

  • Discuss advanced development of the healer.
  • Experience healing from three roles: practitioner, client, and observer/coach.
  • Practice hara alignment, expansion of the core star.
  • Demonstrate a full healing sequence using chelation, spinal cleansing, healing 5th, 6th, and 7th levels of the subtle body.
  • Practice healing techniques of Etheric Template Clearing and Lymphatic Drain.

Advanced Practice Healing Touch Classes

Advanced Practice 1

Description:
Healing Touch Advance Practice 1 covers 5 additional techniques including:

  • Full Body Connection
  • Pyramid Technique
  • Double Hand Spinal Balance
  • Central Core Balance
  • Spiritual form of the Chakra Spread

These techniques are taught in an experiential format to further the skill development of the practitioner. Prerequisite: Completion of Healing Touch Level 3

Advanced Practice 2

Description:
Healing Touch Advance Practice 2 teaches the Trauma Release Technique for release of energetic memory of physical trauma through a hands on and voice process and the autogenic relaxation technique. This course is designed for the Healing Touch Practitioner who is currently working with clients.
Prerequisite: Completion of Healing Touch Level 3

Practice/Support Groups for Healing Touch Students and Practitioners in 2012

Practice/Support Groups are for all students and practitioners of Healing Touch to review techniques, discuss cases, and have the opportunity to exchange treatments with each other. Since there is a strong  emphasis in Healing Touch for students and practitioners to practice self-care this is a wonderful opportunity to receive a treatment as well as to improve one’s skills. Remember that it is important to practice self-care in order to be an effective caregiver.
